Reverse box or not I spent quite a bit of time trying to decide if I should go to the expense of fitting a reverse box or not, I had looked at the electric motor alternative and I didn't like the large ring gear that would be spinning at high speed very close to my legs and feet, I imagine if in a bad accident that could be dangerous. I researched the reverse boxes available and decided I liked the box sold by Allens (the rev up box)as it would give me the opportunity of changing the gearing easily for each circuit to optimise my lack of BHP and Torque compared to the Suzuki Hayabusa engine, so I purchased one............................................................................................................................................ ( Later to regret as the gear mesh noise almost made my ears bleed )
I also wanted to make 4 propshaft loops incase a U/J should come apart or the propshaft come loose, to minimise damage to the car and potentially lethal harm to driver or passenger. The main reason for concern is the rather more acute running angle than in a conventional car engined car. The angle that the propshaft U/J's run at is approximately the same as I have seen on other types of vehicle.
